This unit equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to design and implement medical device policies and manage healthcare technology and support staff effectively within healthcare organisations. It provides both theoretical and practical guidance, encouraging critical thinking through group exercises, case studies, and scenario-based learning.

Learners will explore the implications of various healthcare technology management models, considering patient safety, risk, financial impact, efficiency, and effectiveness. The course fosters strategic decision-making and leadership in the context of medical equipment management.
