Delivers the essential theoretical and practical training in the safe operation and maintenance of anaesthetic systems. It covers anaesthesia principles, respiratory physiology, engineering design, clinical application, performance verification, routine servicing, and fault diagnosis of equipment including anaesthetic machines (Boyle’s to modern), vaporisers, absorbers, circle breathing systems, and anaesthetic ventilators.
