Focuses on dental devices such as operating units, compressors, and lab equipment. Covers organisational and health and safety practices, and workshop procedures, as well as principles of operation, engineering design, as well as performance verification, maintenance, and fault diagnosis for:
- Dental operating units & chairs,
- Dental aspiration systems,
- Ancillary dental equipment including amalgamators, luxor lights, dental processors, de-scalers, dental compressors, and laboratory equipment.
Key Learning Outcomes:
- Service and maintain dental equipment safely.
- Apply fault-finding and testing procedures to dental and dental lab equipment.
- Comply with legislative and safety requirements.
Course duration: 2 days (16 hours) face-to-face with e-learning (≈ 8 hours).
